Maintenance

All irrigation systems require a degree of maintenance.

Primarily this involves being drained down in late Autumn to avoid damage from frost and re-commissioning in the spring.

Greenlight garden irrigation offer this service with all our installations.

Costs are worked out on an individual basis taking into account the size of the installation and distance to be travelled from our base in Worcester.

We offer two maintenance options. Option one includes a spring start up and Autumn drain down.

We also offer a second option which provides mid-summer visit. This is particularly applicable for people who spend a lot of time away from their property.

Below are some of the basic tasks carried out on our annual maintenance visits.

Spring start up

  • Book appointment for convenient time
  • Check each system
  • Fix damaged or worn components
  • Adjust sprinkler placement as required
  • Install batteries as required
  • Set up timing and programmes

Mid-Summer check.

  • Book appointment for convenient time
  • Check each system
  • Fix any damage or worn components
  • Adjust sprinkler placement as required

Autumn drain down

  • Book appointment for convenient time
  • Check each system
  • Fix any damage or worn components
  • Adjust sprinkler placement as required
  • Remove batteries and re-cycle
  • Clean filters as required
  • Drain down key components to avoid damage from freezing

 

Of course our maintenance service is completely optional and we are always on the end of the phone to support our customers.

Please note, in order to carry out our maintenance service to the highest standard we are unable to take on work other businesses have installed.
